The Home Stretch

We're reaching the end run of Freudenstachel's development, and I'm really excited about that! I'm sure you guys are as well, as we never thought this day would come. The final touches are being put on the game, with package design creation and playtesting going on. When will see the release of the game? Who knows, actually. Comiket 82 has essentially passed, and according to the blog, WOMI has no plans to appear at this winter's Comiket for anything, so we may very well be seeing a straight-to-stores release, possibly even a DLsite release with it. We'll definitely see how that goes.

In the meantime, are you playing The eXceed Collection released by nyu media on Steam recently? You may have already played the series or something, but if you didn't actually buy it, go show your support by grabbing it, because it's really good. Well, the first game sucks, but 2nd and 3rd are fantastic. eXceed 2nd is pretty much "moe Ikaruga", and eXceed 3rd is INTERSECT THUNDERBOLT, so get to it! So yeah, play that for a while (and some Ys too, I guess!) as we wait for the release of the long-awaited Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel. We'll keep you posted!

    WOMI just updated his blog with shots of Pamela confronting Trauare. The blog post also shows that he's still playtesting the full game and working on the package.

    Okay, first time updating and I did use Google Translate. From what I can tell, he is fixing up the packages and the maintenance manuals. They'll be finished by the end of September. Also, he said the game should be released between September to October.

      I was thinking at first this would be an entirely new drawing of Freudia with the Dark Magi in the background, similar to the first game's boxart.

      I also love the "[RKS-002]" number on the sideart.

    Another [erka:es] blog update. Not only does it say that WOMI's awaiting character voice recording from RKSF's seiyuus, he's also updated the RKSF page with a page for Pamela's mode.

    Since Freudenstachel will be released soon, I was wondering if it might be possible to obtain a physical copy of the game from a Japanese source. I looked around on the web to see about acquiring an actual copy of Rosenkreuzstilette (First), but the only offers I could find were digital downloads. I wonder, since WOMI is aware of a small fanbase of english fans, might consider offering a solution for importing?
