The Move Begins

Within the next few days, I'm going to be deleting this blog and preparing for a move to a new place. In the mean time, please follow us on Facebook and/or Twitter for new updates. A new Google+ group will come up soon as well. Thanks for following the Schwer Blog for all these years, and I hope you guys will join us in the (planned) future!

  1. Don't worry, I'll never stop reading.

  2. The blog's been updated with twitter icons. There's the icons from the RKSL April Fool's site, featuring Chibi Luste, Chibi Freu, Chibi Zorne, Chibi Pam, Chibi Lecht & Chibi Rink, and three new ones featuring Chibi Ruu, Chibi Dolis, and Chibi Schwer. (P.S. Pam is the short nickname I gave to Pamela, by the way.)

  3. Don't make me use social networking sites. At least post the new url on here before you close down the site.

  4. WOMI posted an update but it doesn't seem to be anything important.

However there is a guy who wants to make a Russian translation which is neat.

  5. WOMI posted another blog post, don't know if it says anything important.

    1. I just translated the blog, and it seems that WOMI says he's in the process of drawing Trau's Twitter icon.

    3. Click Tia's head over on the right side that says erka:es.

Alternatively just paste this, whatever's easier for you http://erkaes.sakura.ne.jp/

He updates it about four times a month but not weekly to answer mail he gets and talk about whatever he's doing.

    4. Oh.. that's not what i mean.
I know about womi's blog personally. I always check it all the time too.

I was under the impression you meant "i just translated the blog on my website" or something like that... Like you translated the latest entry into english, and posted it somewhere for everyone to read.

      but guess not...

  6. For the translation, I happen to use Google Translate. Pity some of the sentences I translate from Japanese using it don't make sense.

  7. Hey Mint, have there been any updates regarding the new site?

  8. Hey out of curiosoty. How's the translation of RKSF coming along? I hadn't really thought about it till recently but it's been about 4 months sense anything was said about it.

  9. Well, it's been quite a long time since WOMI last updated the [erka:es] blog back on April 28, but he finally updated it after a few weeks of without updates. The new update is occupied by a new picture featuring a rough sketch design of Schwer and Zeppy.

    1. It also has his C84 schedule in case anyone here was going to be there, looks like he'll be there the third day at section E-08A.

He'll have copies of RKS and RKSF. Not seeing anything about that RKSF: Director's cut thing mentioned though, he might think he can't finish it in time.

  10. New blog post at WOMI's place, it's some assets of a REALLY old looking version of the first RKS and some sort of CD distribution of something called Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel Я05, which seems to be a collection of development history a.

  11. WOMI updated the [erka:es] blog. (is it OK if I post about this here? I notice that another anon posted similar posts)

A quick Google translate says that basically, he is going to Comiket and is going to be there on August 12th, and that he will be selling RKS and RKSF there along with RKSF [Я05], which is apparently a collection of cels detailing the development history packaged with a early version of the trial. Interesting.

Someone who actually knows Japanese might want to properly translate it, because, you know, Google Translate.

    1. He posted another post. Though a rough Google translate, it seems to be a post about his time during C84.

Among other things, he apparently sold out rather quickly and plans to sell RKSF [Я05] as a download.

He also apparently doesn't plan to return next year in favor of focusing on his own stuff?

But again, this is all crappy Google Translate. If someone who actually translates Japanese could take a look at it, please do. Sorry for wasting your time.

    2. He said he won't attend C85 which is the Winter Comiket in December, he could still come back next year for C86.

    3. Just got a copy of RKSF【Я05】 from WOMI himself. Oooooooh man.

    4. Oh really? Man, I am so envious. Out of curiosity, are you going to write about it here? I noticed that there was already a few Facebook posts about it.

Sorry to bother you either way.

    5. I will write something up. All I ask from the community is that if anyone gets this book, none of it is to be uploaded to the wiki. When it goes up wherever, buy it.

      Delete
    6. I don't think anyone is enough of a slime ball to do that, they might add some trivia, the placeholder enemies in the original demo, or what not from it but putting the whole book on the wiki would be like putting the games there which we all agree ain't right.

    7. I think what he meant was that he doesn't want the book's contents on the wiki at all. At least for the time being, the book doesn't exist as far as the wiki is concerned, outside of maybe a single page acknowledging it.

As counterproductive as that sounds, I can see the logic in not wanting the contents of this book, which is primarily info, to be uploaded to the wiki, since it means that the book itself is useless since you can get the info elsewhere for free.

But yes, if I can get the book, I'd love to, and I will follow your request that it doesn't end up on the wiki.

    9. I wish. Waiting for December for that one. No, it was e-mailed to me.

    10. Ah, so a friend of yours purchased it and mailed it to you? I stand corrected.

  12. WOMI posted another blog post, seems he's having problems getting Я05 on DLSite but sounds like it's still coming regardless.

    6. Thanks, bought. Just need to learn Japanese now. Also the old demo that comes with it is utter nightmare fuel.

  14. Check out these two concept pictures of Zorne and Trau posted by KENp on his blog, which I can assume come from the booklet coming with RKSF [Я05]:

    1. Forgive me if this is double-posting, but I guess I forgot to mention that the blog I found these concept pictures on is considered NSFW, so you'll want to tread carefully if you decide to go on there. Anyway, the outfits that Zorne and Trau are wearing in the concept artwork appear to be slightly different from their final artwork in the original RKS game, and compared to her final original RKS design, it seems that Trau's breasts are slightly smaller.

  15. Hey WOMI updated. RKS and RKSF are now on PLAYISM.

Also seems he's talking about an official localized English version.
