New RKSF Title Page

New RKSF ArtworkFor those of you who keep up with WOMI’s updates and/or read the comment sections here (I swear, I should just make you Anons writers for this blog), you may have noticed the changes made to the RKSF product page. These changes are showing that we’re one step closer to a release of the Freudenstachel. Are you excited? I’m excited. We probably won’t be seeing a Comiket release, but I don’t think that really matters. All that counts is that Freudenstachel is on the horizon, and we’ll be making landfall soon enough.

By the way, the dub is still happening, as is the WOMI interview. There’s a lot of stuff going on behind the scenes that we’re working on, so don’t think we’ve abandoned that ship. Also, Kiora’s doujinshi is still sitting in storage, and I really need to do something about that… I guess we’ll see what 2012 brings, other than the end of the world, of course.

ps the art style is great, haters gonna hate~

  1. I like the new main artwork, and I'm being very honest when I say that. It just seems like a lot of effort was put into it, with all the lighting and whatnot.

I need to clarify something about the art style. I have entirely neutral opinions, not positive nor negative. It's all based on the characters the style applies to. I think it's the fact that the top eyelash is very small in contrast to the previous art style (Compare Spiritia's unadjusted picture to everyone else) and it took me a few weeks to get used to it.

Off-topic, but I'm still questioning why Luste is still referred to "???" in her profile. It's not like we don't know her true identity, it's the same character from the prequel. Heck her weapon is still primarily the same as it was, unless she got her training done and got it upgraded.

  2. I'm glad to hear you got an advance copy of the game, so you could let us all know that Lustatem is the same as it was in the original.

We've already figured out that Luste's name is listed as "Luste Teuber" on the boss select screen (a fact we're not technically supposed to know), so it's probably listed as that just to show that she's a super hero with a secret identity that's glaringly obvious.

  3. I didn't get the advance copy. I assume that first line was sarcasm. I'm guessing she's just trying to hide her identity, which she can't because her "redesign" still has primarily the same features.

Correction/Verification: All the characters' original weapons were not re-named, just upgraded with new abilities.

  4. Why would people dislike that? Freudia's still as lovely as ever....in fact, I think she's even more cuter in this artwork than the previous one.
