As I mentioned in the comments, one of my contacts at J-Box has come through on his word. Starting today, the online retailer will be stocking and selling hard copies of Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel!
I've
been shopping at J-Box for years, so I can vouch for their
reliability. Their visual novel and import game catalogs are pretty
impressive, and they'll knock 15% off the total price of your order if
you order three or more English-translated visual novels (I recommend Go Go Nippon, Kira Kira, and Aselia the Eternal myself).
Just keep in mind that they have two offices - one in Japan and one in
San Diego - and that your order may arrive in two separate packages if
some items are in stock at one office but not the other.
...Yeah,
I said I'd include these details in my next audio announcement, but I
decided this is good news that couldn't wait for me to get my hands on a
decent microphone.

ReplyDeleteThe English translation is definitely happening, but it'll take a while.
WOMI just updated his blog with the first RKSF wallpapers ever. We bring you wallpapers of both Freu and Ruu, and Eifer. (Ruu is Strudel, by the way.)
ReplyDeleteI wonder, does each boss character have a weakness to a particular weapon that Freu uses, like how it was in the first game with Spiritia?
ReplyDeleteI can confirm that this is indeed the case. WOMI proves his old-school creds with some of his choices, too, mirroring Luste's alternative weakness in the first (Tia ga ijimeru yo!).
DeleteBack on-topic: Wow, only two copies of Freudenstachel left in-stock. Glad to see that people are putting their money where their mouth is.
Yea, the weakness order is very much a direct reverse of the original with a few exceptions.

ReplyDeleteThat wasn't me. It doesn't have my picture, and the NSFW "link" doesn't go to my Blogger profile.
DeleteIndeed. Whoever links to "poo dot com", draws an emoticon rendition of hooters, and frames a site regular for it really has too much time on their hands. And badly needs to get a girlfriend.
Deletelol, do people still do this?
DeleteIt's the Internet. That's what it's for: slandering people anonymously (and sharing porn). According to Dogma, at least.
DeleteWhoops - I meant Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.
Deletelol, wonder why Justin was picked out
