  4. Wow. I actually did jump down there once, but I must've not seen/missed the platform. I also jumped the whole way down those pillars once. I just assumed there was nothing.

    Actually, with all the Castlevania references I was suprised there was no place where you'd jump past some stairs and have powerups fall from the sky.

    Maybe I saw a video of it on niconico or something? I can't remember. All I know is, I always stop there before fighting the boss. >>;

    I was playing RKS one time and I thinking instead of flying to Iris, I took the stairs instead. I was like: Man I feel like Richter Belmont> :D Until I fell off near the end and was like: OH SH*T!!!! O_O But I was saved by that platform... *sigh* Good finds! ^_^
    I do got a complaint.. Why the names in characters' names in English yet they're speaking Japanese...? >.>

  9. Those aren't English names, they are German. Although that doesn't really answer why they are speaking Japanese.

  10. Anonymous, that's not quite what he meant.

    Viper, I assume you're talking about in the fortress stages / Grolla mode. The names and dialogue are stored in separate files. The "nameplate" file, as I call it, controls which portraits and names are displayed for a given text box. I have personally translated this into English in its entirety. This is why all of the names are in German / English at all times (as opposed to katakana).

    The dialogue text, on the other hand, is stored elsewhere and the English versions were only inserted up to Schwer-Muta's Stage. This is why, starting at Zeppelin Stage I, all text is in the original Japanese. We said this was a preview, not the full game. Actually, we had originally intended to include the English script for only the stages in the official demo, but multiple factors such as the variations on Zorne's / Trauare's / Grolla's / Sichte's stages and my better-than-expected progress with the Game Over screens prompted us to include all eight.
